St. Barnabas - Missionaries in Residence
Our "Missionaries In Residence", The Rev. Dr. Benjamin Wait III and Dr. Shirleen Wait have served as AFM Pastors to missionaries since 2000. As such, they visit missionaries on the field and welcome them into their beachside home for rest and refreshment. The Waits have a great passion for unreached peoples and the missionaries who are working among those peoples. One such ministry is to the Miou people in China.
Brookview Elementary School
St. Barnabas provides much needed school supplies to students and teachers to supplement decreasing budgets in the school systems. We also provide, as needed, refreshments to school leadership meetings. Contact Loretta Baldwin or Tressa Dishman for information.
"The Evangelical Christian Outreach for Bikers" is St. Barnabas' recent addition to our family. They are part of the Christian Motorcyclists Association whose purpose is to reach out to the motorcycle community who are not involved with a church and provide them with a way to learn about the Lord and His love for them. They meet bimonthly on Sundays in our "annex" property with fellowship at 9AM and an informal worship service at 10AM.
